Our Mission

Each year in the State of Florida we experience more then 200,000 motor vehicle crashes where 5% involve bicycles or pedestrian road users. In an attempt to create significant change, VeloFest Community Initiative founded in 2011, produces events and education programs in St. Johns County and around Florida to heighten awareness. The goal is to create safer roads for all. We ask all participants to just "give em a break" each day. Most importantly give ourselves a break and be a better road user. More info can be found at www.velofest.org.
